Multilingual chatbot “talkappi” – now available at Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel

ActiValues, Inc. (Tokyo, CEO: Chen Shi), a company that develops multilingual communication tools, has introduced AI chatbot “talkappi” that is available in five languages at Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel.

talkappi, launched in December 2017, is a chatbot that auto-responds to inquiries or supports marketing. It is very user-friendly as guests can access to the chatbot through smartphone apps such as LINE. In addition to web browser, talkappi is accessible through LINE, Facebook Messenger, WeChat that many Japanese and overseas visitors use. With this system, users can keep connection with their guests before and after their visit. It is available in Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified/traditional), and Korean. The chatbot is already introduced in Hotel Village, Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, Okinawa Tourist Service Inc., Kusatsu Onsen Tourism Association, and Kochi City, and it has received a good review for auto-response.
